Prior to the merger with SMW Systems, ATS Workholding was the leading presence on the market for collet chucks. Collet chucks remain our stock-in-trade, and one of our most constant sellers.

The merger with SMW Systems formed our current company, ATS Systems, and augmented our product line with SMW System's range of power chucks. As a result, we have the best workholding equipment to suit any automated system or production need, from collet to power chucks and all points in between, and for through-hole and non-through-hole applications, as well as coolant and filtration systems for your shop.

Collet Chucks

Collet chucks remain the core of our business. A range of models is available, including true-length, pullback, and quick-change true length collet chucks. Manual chucks can also be ordered from ATS Systems, as are expanding mandrels and cylinders

Ultimate Chuck™️

For first-operation applications, the Ultimate Chuck is an industry standard chuck design. First introduced by SMW Systems in 1976, it remains one of the best quick-change chuck systems on the market.

HWR Chucks

If you demand the utmost in versatility from a single lathe, ATS Systems is also a dealer for HWR products, including HWR's InoFlex compensating jaw chucks, as well as the InoZet jaw system and InoTop hybrid clamping jaw.

The InoFlex and InoZet systems are revolutionary. The InoFlex is a four-jaw compensating chuck, which can clamp circular, rectangular and irregular workpieces without having to change jaws. The InoZet system is a six-jaw clamping system that can be bolted onto any chuck system, allowing any lathe to do far more turning than previously possible. HWR's InoTop system fits any three-jaw clamp system, and allows far more precise turning of deformation-sensitive materials.
